Sehr cool - funktionieren die nur im neuen Teil oder auch in 2K12 bspw.? ;)

Und wenn ja, wo kann ich mich schlau machen, wie ich die Sachen einfüge? :P

Einfügen ist eigentlich ganz einfach. Entpacken und die pngxxx.iff Datei kopieren und in dein Installationsverzeichnis kopieren und die bestehende Datei überschreiben.
Leider kann man die Faces aus 2k13 nicht in 2k12 verwenden und andersherum, dazu müsste man das erst wieder konvertieren.

Wo muss ich Faces oder Mods generell eigentlich einfügen?

Einfach runterladen und die pngxxx.iff Datei in den 2k14 Ordner einfügen udn überschreiben. Das gilt für alle mods.
